Panasonic Air Conditioning

Design, installation, servicing and maintenance of Panasonic commercial air conditioning across London, Essex and Kent — from a single office split system to multi-storey VRF.

Why we fit Panasonic

Panasonic is one of a handful of manufacturers whose commercial range covers the whole spread of what our clients actually ask for — a single wall unit in a back office at one end, a VRF system serving several floors at the other — without having to mix equipment from different makers across one building.

Much of the current range runs on R32 refrigerant. That matters for more than efficiency: R32 has a global warming potential of roughly 675 against the 2,088 of the R410A it replaced, and because F-Gas leak-check duties are calculated from the refrigerant's GWP multiplied by the charge, a lower-GWP system can fall into a less demanding inspection band. We cover how that calculation works on our F-Gas compliance page.

On Panasonic equipment we can offer warranties of up to seven years, provided the system is commissioned correctly and kept on a maintenance schedule. Both of those are things we handle in-house rather than subcontract.

What we install

The right system depends on the building rather than the budget. We survey the space before recommending anything.

Wall-mounted and floor-standing splits

Single-room cooling and heating for offices, shops and small retail units, where one indoor unit paired with one outdoor unit is the sensible answer.

Cassettes and ducted units

Recessed into a suspended ceiling or hidden in the void above it, for open-plan floors and hospitality spaces where the plant should not be visible.

Multi-split systems

Several indoor units served by one outdoor unit — useful where roof or plant space is tight and running separate systems is impractical.

VRF for larger buildings

Variable refrigerant flow across many zones, with heat recovery moving warmth from rooms that need cooling to rooms that need heating.

Where it goes in

  • Offices and open-plan workspaces
  • Retail units and showrooms
  • Restaurants, bars and hotels
  • Healthcare and treatment rooms
  • Light industrial and production areas

Servicing and maintenance

Air conditioning fails in summer, when nobody has time for it. Planned maintenance is the difference between a filter clean and system health check booked in advance and a compressor replacement in August.

Our engineers are F-Gas certified and the company is REFCOM Elite registered, so statutory leak checking, record keeping and refrigerant handling are covered as part of the same visit.

We also work with Mitsubishi Electric, Toshiba, Fujitsu and MHI — see all commercial air conditioning services.
