With over 50 years of experience in
the refrigeration and air conditioning industry. Four decades of directing Hawkes Refrigeration
Engineers… I have enjoyed a affluent and varied life. Still very active at Hawkes, I aim to retire in the next couple of years (been saying that for the last 6 years!). My role here is to ensure that our teams are fully motivated and that we strive to go further forward into the future as a major player in the air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration industry.

Welcome. Having been in the air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration industry for over 20 years now.
It’s been grand working for
Hawkes Refrigeration. As a young lad I helped my Dad (Martin Hawkes) with various tasks around our workshops and out in the field. Obviously a little older now my roles have changed considerably
of which are more channelled into keeping the Hawkes name
everyone’s first choice. I’m always happy to help, offer
professional but friendly advice.

I have served at Hawkes since leaving school.
It’s been tough keeping abreast of new refrigerant gases and an ever
changing industry but hey we manage. Commissioning, service and
general snagging for quality control is my role at Hawkes
refrigeration engineers, this ensures that we offer a 1st class
sales, installation and service that is second to none. A family business that’s not afraid of a challenge and that’s why I am proud to be

Liza Oates
Company Secretary
Liza Oates joined Hawkes in January 1999 as Company Secretary, her role covers accounts, payroll, service calls and various other duties.
Prior to this worked as an Executive Assistant to Managing Director for large computer services company. She is married with two children, has 2 cats, 1 dog and two tarantulas – got rid of the Iguana and killed the piranha fish by switching off electric in error honest. Also has a wonderful singing voice and could be a Karaoke queen.
