Terms and conditions
The following terms and
conditions apply to all transactions processed by this site and over
phone lines. Please read carefully and print a copy for reference.
1) All prices are shown in £ sterling and we reserve the right to
change any advertised prices at any time. The price you pay is the
price displayed on this website at the time we receive your order
except in the instance where an error has occurred with the data
making up the information which is projected through the website. In
the event that an error is discovered with the price of any goods
you may have ordered we will inform you as soon possible. We will
then give you the option of amending and processing your order at
the correct price or cancelling it. In the possible event that we
cannot contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you
cancel and you have already paid for the goods we will give you a
full refund in this instance.
2) All products are subject to availability and may be changed at
any time. If your order cannot be fulfilled you will be offered an
alternative or given a full refund.
3) Payment can be made by any major Credit, Debit card or Cheque.
Full payment for your goods is taken when a new order is created
(only applicable to non-finance purchases). If the customer chooses
to pay by cheque then the order is created when the cheque has been
received, delivery on cleared funds.
4) Delivery will usually be within 7-10 working days of the
creation of the order (i.e. excluding weekends and bank holidays); a
signature will be required. Provided delivery dates are estimated at
all times and may be delayed without prior-notice, which is why we
advise all customers not to book fitters until they have received
the relevant goods.
5) Whilst we make every reasonable attempt to deliver promptly and
within the estimated time frame, we cannot be held responsible for
sudden stock shortages, manufacturing delays or unforeseeable
circumstances.
6) We will only deliver to the front door of ground floor
properties as standard. Any request made to the drivers to move
packages beyond this point are made entirely at the customers own
risk. Deliveries are usually made with one man so on-site assistance
may be required for larger items. If on-site assistance will not be
available, a two-man delivery may be possible at an additional
charge. Please call us for further information or if this affects
your order.
7) We will endeavour to take all possible reasonable care to ensure
your payment details are kept secure. However in the absence of
negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may
suffer if a third party procures unauthorized access to any data you
provide when accessing or ordering.
8) Damaged goods or failed deliveries must be reported within 7
days of delivery date. In the case of non-delivery please wait 7
days from the date of your order in case it has been delayed. In
case of goods received damaged or faulty please retain the product
(together with any packaging) and contact us within 7 days of
receipt (commencing the day after delivery), whereupon we
will arrange for the item to be exchanged or offer a full refund.
This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
9) Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations
2000, you have the right to cancel your order within seven days of
receipt of the goods, without giving a reason. You must bear the
costs of returning the goods to us and all products must be returned
with original packaging. Refunds will be reimbursed within 30
working days of the cancellation date. Cancellations must be
requested within 7 working days. The 7 day cancellation period for
each appliance - commences the day after the day of delivery
of that appliance. All cancellations must be sent in writing to our
head office address (please see contact details page). Each
cancelled product may be subject to a restocking charge at cost
dependant on the manufacturer of the product.
10) If the customer wishes to cancel and return the goods then the
cost of returning the items must be met by the customer. The
customer has the choice of returning the goods via his/her own means
or requesting a collection in which case the cost of the collection
would be taken from the refund amount due to the customer.
11) We take all complaints very seriously. If you have a cause of
complaint then please write to us at the address shown on our
contact page. We will respond in writing to all complaints within 5
days and will keep you informed throughout the process by your
request.
12) We do not send out unsolicited marketing material by any means.
13) Any data collected by us during the course of business with you
is purely for our internal use and is not forwarded or sold to any
third party. Leasing applications are treated as highly confidential
and should you be declined for credit after final processing, we
will not be given a reason, simply a yes/no answer from the
finance company.
14) Should you require to discuss any matter in private at any
time, please contact our customer services team and we will be happy
to help.
15) None of the above affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
16) All items carry a minimum twelve months defective parts and
labour guarantee (unless specified) issued by the manufacturer
which is limited to domestic use only (it does not cover misuse or
neglect of the product). Appliances used in a commercial environment
will not be covered under this guarantee unless specified.
A
majority of the products we sell require maintenance, warranties do
not include for poor performance of units due to dirty filters, we
reserve the right to charge for such claims if it relates to lack of
maintenance. We do not offer extended warranties however we can
offer extended warranties to split air conditioners subject to
regulars planned maintenance visits as recommended by the
manufacturers. Certain credit card companies may be able to provide
this service to their card holders.
17) All product information shown on the website is believed to be
correct and accurate from the source material (i.e. manufacturers
documentation). However we regret that we can not be held
responsible for any errors or omissions.
18) In normal circumstances non-finance payment orders are usually
fulfilled within 7-10 working days from the date of order.
19) Our leasing credit/hire option is available to registered
traders and limited companies of the UK only and is subject to
status. Further information is available on request.
20) Whilst usually we will gladly match genuine like-for-like
written quotes, the management reserves the right to refuse price
matches without disclosed reason.
